Why MediShare Africa
Our Objectives
- To support and provide care for those affected or at risk of various medical conditions in Kenya as a developing country.
- To construct and equip health institutions, educational facilities and other centres of excellence for the purposes of developing local communities.
- To set up self help projects within the local communities for those affected or at risk of various medical conditions and to be self reliant and lead a normal life.
- To provide practical assistance to the poor and vulnerable communities to enhance them live a normal life.
- Assist the communities in water and sanitation by construction of dams, boreholes, wells and installation of piped water systems for both agricultural and domestic use.
- To mobilize funds and support local communities in establishing sports academies and research centres
- To support programs aimed at leadership development and good governance especially among the youth at the county level.
- To support a bursary Fund to assist in educational support and research.
The Water Problem
Access to clean and safe water remains a major challenge in many parts of Eastern Kenya.
Women and children walk long distances daily to fetch water.
Water sources are often unsafe, causing waterborne diseases.
Climate change has worsened droughts and reduced water reliability.
But behind every problem, there’s knowledge, experience, and resilience.
We aim to highlight what communities already know and have—and build on it.

- Sand and Sub-surface Dams
- Gravity water supplies
- Pumped water supplies
- Borehole Drilling and Rehabilitation
- Spring protection
- Environmental issues/Conservation.
- Mitigation in Climate changes to reduce global warming
- Capacity building interventions.
